چکیده
Abstract The interaction of the wheel and rail, being physical basis for movement trains, determines not only such important technical economic indicators railway transport as weight trains their speed, reliability operational life sets, but also foundations operation - safety train traffic. Therefore, studies problems wheel-rail friction pair are relevant in demand within framework a particular wagon or locomotive depot, country’s whole. In this regard, it is to note that one main most loaded elements undercarriage locomotives wagons directly interact with rails wheels. An factor development implementation new surface hardening technologies is: firstly, rising prices corresponding costs production metal products wheels high energy consumption, secondly, increasing spare parts, maintenance overhaul sets; thirdly, rise carriers transportation delivery; traditional heat treatment almost impossible achieve.
